Only issue is how it is gonna remember it, it could take up more storage, but regardless of all that- support. I like this idea xD

 

there's no doubt it would take up more storage.
avatars take up much more space than usernames do.
but when you're talking about servers, they have massive amounts of storage, and 1tb is only around $50 US.
let's say an average avatar is 3MB, that means for $50, you can store over 300 million avatars.
that's pretty cheap when you're talking about servers, which can cost upwards of $1,000 each.

No support. If people put up an IRL pic or something, and no longer want it up, I'm sure they don't want it just hanging around on their profile out in the open. Yes, I know. Everything on the internet lasts forever. But it has to be dug up in order to find it.

 

did you read the whole thing? you could just restrict it so others can't see it.
and why would you even upload that if you know you could regret it? that's just stupid, as it's still lingering around on the server.
I was able to find this in less than a minute with a simple search

Though I am neutral on this idea cause I've had cringy pfp which I wouldn't like to be displayed somewhere on my profile. And if you really want it, just put it in your information

No support. When I change my profile picture, it's because I no longer want to see the previous one.
