Ever notice that the people who are popular skygods/donors never get warned/muted/banned for saying things in chat that normal users would get muted/banned for? For instance, just 5 minutes ago I saw in chat that a donor told a fellow popular donor something not exactly G-Rated. Personally, I don’t mind this and I don’t think many other people do, but it’s an issue of why they don’t get reported, and why they don’t get punished. Even if you’re new to the server, it’s very easy to tell who’s a popular player and who isn’t. So why don’t people report them? Is it because they’re popular and in their own little donor chat circle? Or is it because people don’t want to aggravate them? And if it was a non-donor, saying these types of things would most certainly get them warned, if not muted.

Either way, this isn’t really fair to people who aren’t of the reputable group.

If I ever say something bad in chat, I get kicked, and I'm a donor. You never see people get kicked/muted/banned.

No I see these people coming back, saying the exact same thing (or similar) over and over. It's not like extremely bad, but you've seen donor chat right? You know what they say.

Pretty sure mods warn/kick them, and some miss the messages because a mod's chat moves a lot faster than that of a regular player. However, I have seen cases when the mod was just being pure biased, and that's never going to change. Most don't report the "popular kids" because they don't want to mess with them, as you have stated.

You may think that we don't take action, but we really do, you just can't see it. All moderators should be unbiased when moderating. If you break the rules you will be punished, no matter how much you have donated.

ban me and my popularity will rek u :t

but tbh its true you have to donate to be popular then that leads to (some moderators) feeling a bit scared of what the person getting punished will do but tbh the best mod imo is someone who is unbiased and not scared to ban for the right reason.

Eh I've never really been afraid of popularity status. Anyone who reads this comment, I encourage you to make it a lot more equal for everyone and to not be afraid of reporting people who are 'popular'.
This isn't a really a question of donation, it's more of a question of popularity. Anyways, we can't all be unbiased can we?

But also it isn't always being popular, someone might really look up to you in a good way and as soon as you do something worth a ban, they don't know what to do. Moderating is harder than you think, mods just need to know not to be scared of giving out punishments.

I used to be afraid of getting on the popular kids' bad side, so I didn't report them. I don't play anymore, but I would not be hesitant to report anyone anymore. But then again, I am a bit too lazy to make a report for everything haha.

I'm not exactly popular, but I get where you're coming from. Surprisingly enough, we do get warned very often. Lemo especially does this and he's a good friend of mine. It's not really something you can change. The mods do mute the people who do these things, and I'm not being hypocritical since I'm almost three hundred percent positive this was about the type of person I am and other people are, but I know how it feels. I use to be the exact same way. It's just about laying back a bit, don't take it so seriously, you know?

Its really no use reporting anymore because 90% of the time the person gets "warned"... people dont bother reporting because it does nothing

Lmao, I've been muted quite a few times, and I'm well known enough.
I've also been reported many times, but well, maybe that's cuz I'm me.

As for reporting, I hardly report unless someone really pisses me off, and well, the few reports I've made were all towards donors, I think.
I've even reported Stel before lol

Chat is getting faster every day, mods can't keep up with all the kicking, usually those that are going for mod help out mods usually take that for their warning, however, if they do continue they get a 30 minute mute. I'm a donor400 and I got punished before I become helpful. :) I can see where you're coming from, how "donors get away with everything" but it's not true, we can't see the kick messages, if we could, you'd be suprised how many people get punished. :p

We can, but being biased when moderating, in my point of view, is not acceptable. Like I have already stated, you don't see the players being kicked, muted, or warned, therefor you have the right to think that we are not doing much about it, but the truth is we are. You just can't see it.

I have primary sources to support the claim that some mods are biased.

I have not yet stated that all moderators are unbiased, I am just stating that I don't think being biased while moderating is okay.
