Please Read

I am suggesting a purge day on skyblock where you could /visit and destroy all other people's islands. The only then that protects are /private stuff. PVP would be on everywhere. This would make all the rich people not so rich.

 

This was already suggested, no support. A player can come on at anytime and they would not know it was "purge day" Also, not lots of players want their items griefed, there will be many complaints.

Okay. The point of having island protection is to not get griefed. I am 100% sure people don't want to lose their items.

Now, what about the people who are inactive? or are taking a break from Skyblock? They'll come back to see that all their items have vanished and all their builds and stuff have been destroyed. This would upset most of the players and it would confuse many.

And for people who have just started playing, to have everything gone so soon is quite harsh, don't you think?

I mean, the idea is nice but it just won't work on Skyblock.

Did you mean that all the privated stuff would be protected, or..?

Even if that is the case, many wouldn't be very happy as the rest of their island would've been destroyed after a lot of hard work building it up to where it now is.

Personally, I like the idea and wouldn't really mind having this (As I don't really do much on Skyblock) but I don't think others would want this.

 

See, this would be good if it was right before a reset or something. Otherwise, you just get pissed off players, and that doesn't benefit anyone.

I guess you don't realize that most people work for their items, and I doubt they would want to just get those items stolen.

Point 1:
I have been playing on this server for over two years. I have more resources than some other players, but I would not consider myself to be rich.

The players who are like myself, have worked for it. I spent over a year running a very successful wool shop (MDVK's World of Wool™). I sheared for hours, days on end. I sold my wool and saved. (Biggest wool order was 46DC's of dark blue that I hand sheared myself)

Now I'm in the process of giving away most of what I've obtained because I find more value in helping others than in material items. Not every rich player has this same objective and that's okay.

So my point is that "rich" players don't deserve to have their islands destroyed because you're not willing to put in actual effort.

Point 2:
Let's say you destroy a bunch of islands that have quartz blocks on them. You go and sell the quartz. It'll be nearly valueless because there will be plenty in circulation as opposed to placed.

End of rant.

Messing up the server.. It like survival mode ...

 

This idea will not be implemented I think.
I am going with No Support on this one
Reasons:
- Could destroy things players want to keep (Beacons and Spawners)
- The point of having island protection is not to grief.
- People could player spleef
- People could loot
- Destroying the server ( I don't think there is any Backup )

 

Gundham, why do u agree? to looting and destroying islands.

 

If there were to be a reset, this would be a fun activity for those who want to have fun ^-^ I would love to see people laughing and having fun while they join there friends in a mini grief or be griefed. Only if there were to be a reset though.
