Hello fellow skyblockers,
I recently came across an event which I found a bit shocking. The .net mod the_dirty_ninja had taken, or in his words, confiscated, a player head I had obtained through another player. He informed me that it belonged somewhere, but when I asked where, which I did multiple times, he would not reply. Here are a couple screenshots showing that I did in fact have this player head.

As I had stated before, I was asking him where he put it as he was claiming that the person I got it from had gotten it from somewhere else. So I asked:
... But no reply. All of this made me highly suspicious, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry ninja, it just seemed really fishy, and I was there when they were griefing the newspawn, I didn't see any missing heads. Anyways about the head, does this mean I won't be getting it back, or a replacement?

 

Trading player heads is illegal? I'm sure it wasn't as mob heads are perfectly fine to trade.

 

Oh... well, is it possible to get any other sort of a replacement? A legal mob head or something along those lines?

 

also what did you trade for the steve head?

 

I don't remember their exact username anymore, I remember it started with "beasy" or something along those lines and they lived on an island with someone named iamamonkey and some numbers after that. Sorry I couldn't provide much there.

I only gave 3 diamonds for the steve head, not knowing it was illegal going off of knowing that other mob heads were legal. I first found out about it through the person I got it from asking for it to be enchanted, having a feeling the item was stolen which had me asking questions and asking to go to their island to look for bridges or any other possible stolen items. I saw none, except for a small bridge to an island next to them but it looked cut off by replacing the island. While I was at their island my power went out and then I paid them when I got back on unknowing it was illegal.

 

By the way, you asked me that in-game when this all happened, and at that time I answered you cause I knew. You soon after told me they were banned even though when I had done /seen they didn't have the "-Banned: true" thing that they would have. What was that about?

 

There were player heads at newspawn I thought there were only mob heads ?

 

I knew at the time, I don't remember now. I've been up all night, I'm tired and can't remember.

 

That's what I thought too, except for the one in the pixel art, but that one was there when Noobcrew protected the warp again.
