The other day, I was looking into some issues with passive mobs stacking and not being able to breed them. I've found a solution that works will all passive mobs that can be bred. It doesn't look pretty, but it works. Hope this helps.

♥ First you'll need a 3 x 5 area, with a fence in the middle. The fence is very important, this what keeps them from stacking.

♥ Next you'll want to have at least one or more cows (or what ever mob) on one side.

♥ Then on the other side, you'll do the same. coww.png

♥ From there you'll be able to breed them, without them fully stacking. I know people are confused and not sure on how to breed them especially if they're stacked, there is no way currently to breed stacked mobs, however this is a minor glitch/solution. There needs to at least be 1 block in between them preventing them from stacking together.

You can actually breed them but it takes up a whole load of whatever they breed with. If you have 32 stacked cows, you'll need 32 wheat.
