Party Chat! What is it? How would it work? /local is great. It lets you chat with your friends on the same island. But sometime, random people come too, or you want to work on something else while chatting with friends. This is where Party Chat would shine. Party Chat would allow you to speak only with people added to the Party. This would be an easy process, just simply type /partychatadd or, more conveniently, /pcadd, for example: /pcadd MrEPro Then, the player added will be notified that somebody added you, for example: MrEPro has invited you to their Party Chat! Type /pcaccept to join, or /pcdecline to not. Once joined, it would tell you who's in the Party Chat, for example: Welcome to the Party! You've joined MrEPro, MrEPro2 and MrEPro3. And the others would be notified you joined: MrEPro has joined the Party Chat. To chat in Party Chat, just type /pc (your message), for example: /pc Damn, this new Party Chat feature is sick! MrEPro makes awesome suggestions. To leave the Party Chat, just type /pcleave or /partychatleave. Everyone in the Party would be notified that you left: MrEPro left the Party Chat. You can still speak in Global and Local chat, using /cg and /cl. Party Chat would let you speak with only those you want to, while not confusing others in the global chat and solving the inconveniences of local chat!

I'm personally in different to this addition, but it would work well (if considering we already have so many different versions of chat (/local, and then /lc(cl?) to see local and global chat, whispers, coop chat) it feels like it'd fit right in, just a bit more overwhelming in my personal opinion haha There was another thread made the other day Global - An idea for both servers, option to view only friends in global chat | Skyblock Official Site where people ended up discussing party chat too
I mean totally not just another variation copying my last suggestion, but nonetheless I'd still support this. Party chat. Friends chat, all ways to involve people who love to converse on skyblock better
Hi Abbie, actually if you compare your suggestion to mine, there are some big differences. Your idea of filtering out non friended users in the regular chat had many flaws which would cause confusion in the global chat. I have simply worked on your suggestion as I believe it’s a good idea however the way you want to implement it is inherently flawed and has room for abuse and confusion. I just wanted to rework your idea into something that makes more sense. But thanks for your support!

Which is cool, I support the idea of a party chat option to include more friends into conversations. I don't think it would exclude many as lots of players use local modes already. I may poorly word the suggestions is all But isn't nuker bannable, lol.
