Owner of Island More Permissions

1. Island owners should have permissions to remove [Private] signs.
Reason: To stop people from placing them randomly to ruin the island or that someone left a island With lots of [Private] Signs on.

2. Island owners should have permissions to claim the island (like a plot or many plots) then the island owner can give a plot to one of the other players living on a island.
Reason: To stop other people griefing islands and that people has there own part of the island that no other than there self,s and the owner can build on.

But then, a person could invite someone to their coop, make them leave their stuff and then just open the chest. They could farm items from players easily. Also it would increase number of coop griefs (which we don't really like to handle) and have a generally negative impact.

If owners could break lockettes, there won't be any more privacy. Players who are not the island owners (like me) will complain about their stuff being stolen. No support.

 

This is basically ASKING island owners to rob their coop members. If you want locks removed, get a mod. sorry, no support.

 

It would increase the amount of co-op griefs, which isn't something we want to see. At least the lockette idea. I'll think on the other one.

This won't work. Someone could bridge from their part of the island and the entire island could get blamed. Also, when you have a island, it's YOUR island.

That would mean island owners would see their most productive member and then kick them from the island then remove the lockette. No one wants to get kicked just so they can lose their stuff

 

I think its a good idea to give island owners more power, but idk about the lock pick idea...

 

1) You've already been given reasons why this wouldn't work. Not to mention, you can't give out that permission per island. There is a single node for lockette bypass, and it doesn't coincide with the skyblock plugin. If you can break signs or get past them, you can do it on any island without worldguard protection. Simple as that.

2) We don't use Grief Prevention or Plots on this server as it would produce far too much lag to have so many regions, not to mention the entire point of a coop is to work together, not seperate yourselves. If you really want, just section it out amongst yourselves.

Thread locked for being impossible without new plugins and extremely unlikely.
