Ore generation turned off by default which is confusing to new players. New players expect the classic Skyblock experience by getting ores from the cobble gen. New player don't understand all the feature that Skyblock has to offers and it takes awhile to figure them all out. They are also more hesitant to ask questions in chat because they are so new to the server. So I suggest that ore generation should be on by default because it will make the experience better for new players.

Also a nice surprise for new players who aren’t expecting ores.
They get so excited when it happens.

Wait, ore generation is off by default? I had exactly the experience Drogo described.

 

I think if your island was created pre update it’s on by default. Anyone w an island pre update that I know of has had it on and since the update is when I’ve noticed ppl saying it’s off
