    I'm going to ignore the thread and post whatever I want.

    If it was up to me to save someone from drowning, they'd drown.. As I cannot swim and me > them.
    If it was a friend I'd attempt to save them, if it was a cat I'd dive in that water.

    however 'lol' isn't a new generation of speak it was used before you were born, and probably before your parents time.
