Back in 2013, I was playing survival games and I had gotten to deathmatch. The deathmatch arena on this server was essentially just a stone brick platform above a pool of lava. There was a trick with the arena where you jump into a corner and place a cake underneath you to make an "island" in the lava that you could stand on. It would make it very hard for people to jump onto the cake without falling into the lava and dying. Anyway, me and another guy were the last people left. This guy had like full iron with an iron or diamond sword whereas I had leather, gold, and chain with a wood or stone sword. I had done the cake trick and was hiding on the cake waiting for the guy to do something. He jumped in and managed to knock me off my cake into the lava. I was like 1 second away from dying when all of a sudden, I started hitting this guy faster than I thought was possible. I must've hit him almost 10 times in a matter of about half a second. I managed to kill him while I was on one heart and won the survival games. It was probably my best survival games win ever and I ended up getting like 400 points or something from it (which was a ton on this server). I miss 2013 minecraft.
Skype group, would post what I named it but it'd be censored. Was full of the homies and active for a solid year and a half or so? Maybe a bit longer, but now all are unreachable.
