I don't come on to the forums very often but when I do I'm only able to view alerts from 2 weeks ago or less.

 

This happens to me as well, I believe it happens so your alert box doesn't get spammed with over 10+ pages or so of alerts. Although I could be wrong >.<

 

Sadly its a thing although if you want to look at ratings you've recieved go here
This does go all the way to your first rating received

or if you wanna find things you've posted (which could of been a reply message to the quote you're looking for or something) go here,
This goes a few pages back but there is a "view older messages" and I think you can go back all the way to the start

In all honesty, I doubt this is a bug. It has always done this leading me to believe it is a thing purposefully installed on these fourms. To disable it for one person is more than likely going to be an issue (if you try) and disabling it for all would be even worse to those who like it. Though I could be totally wrong and it is a massive fourm-wide glitch :/

Though there should be some way of altering what appears in your inbox and what doesn't. If there isn't, there should be one ;p

I'm pretty sure you can just go to the alert tab and view all alerts
