Nuker, a permitted hack, is causing disconnections. Could someone please advise if this is likely to be a temporary issue or if it has been deliberately implemented. Kind regards, Drogo.
I'm wondering too. Preventing Players to Play is indeed a good way to prevent lag, but is it constructive?
Can't assume at this stage that this is deliberate or just an issue of lag. Only dev and admins would know for sure Drogo guesses.
This is because of lag, I have nuker but I prefer to break things by myself to get less lag and a better gameplay. Sadly, lag cannot be fixed.
Cheat is when it's forbidden. That is not the case here. And I tried vanilla, liked it, but thanks for the hint True thing. Waiting for an official reply then.
It is because of the lag. Nuker is just a quicker way of breaking blocks in a radius. Many people experience block lag when the servers tps goes down. Now if you think about it people get a ban from console when this type of thing happens because of glitching in the blocks and other fun stuff. What you possible get kicked for is also issues with the way the server is registering the mass block breaking under strain. Nuker has never been brought up as an issue at all; not by staff or even players. This is why a deliberate block on nuker is unlikely and especially because it is fairly unlikely one certain feature of a hacked client is blocked without disabling all that can be. So my advice is to use a different hacked client and see how it goes.
Drogo and I have tried pretty much all clients. Maybe devs have found an issue with it and decided to restrain it idk. Otherwise it is a bug that appeared on the 25th of April for unknown reasons. But something changed and issued it. It's not because of lag as it happens also with < 100 players online.
FYI, using "FastBow" (on your own island, which is perfectly legal) disconnects you aswell. Somewhere in the lines of "[Proxy] Lost connection"
So we know for now that disconnection occurs when items are generated at a higher pace. Has someone tried kill aura in bigger spawner complexes? Could crrate the same conditions.
Stone, cobble, wood and vines for my part. Nuker increases production rate and lowers prices. Drogo had to shut down its shop because of the present issue, and so did I.
I use kill aura for about an hour in Stel_'s Guardian Grinder, which has 3 spawners in it. I was alone and did not get disconnected.
Wait for many many mobs to spawn and then chew through them with kill aura and a Godded sword. I guess this could trigger the bug.
Drogo has tried using nuker with another player standing in the same spot and only the player using nuker is being disconnected. Drogo would think that if it was lag causing the DC, then both players would DC as both need to render all the blocks.
If it were due to lag, then surely the same would happen when you break a chest full of stone and they all suddenly appear but it doesn't. Using nuker on only a few blocks also causes the disconnection, which is no different to several people mining regularly in the same area. For these reason and others, Drogo doesn't believe lag is the cause. If admin have decided to stop the use of nuker then that's their decision, it's their server. Drogo just asks to be informed.
