no ice!!

    my island is in an ice mountains biome.
    ALOT of ice spawns in
    i hate having to place torches very block to stop it.
    please get/make a plugin that stops ice generation. It gets really annoying. Please get a plugin that can fix this

    That's just how the world biomes generate. You can play a slab / block any height above the water to prevent it from freezing.

    No support, I've seen people who like terraforming make huge ice mountains, I've seen a Christmas island built with ice, and an ice castle like the one from Frozen.
    It wouldn't be worth losing the building material.
    There are suggestions above to keep it from turning to ice.

    Like many people have stated its how biomes spawn. Why change the Minecraft physics? Some people enjoy the ice as well. Its not fair to take it away from everyone.

    No support, i envy you a ton though! my extreme hills wont make ice at all, but it does on another guys extreme hills, its so annoying :(
