So as we all know, there will be a new server. Not a reset, but a new server.

A lot of people are divided as whether to stay on the original server, or leave to go to the new one. Whilst talking to Dough he asked me if I was going to play on either the new, or the old server. This was what made me think about this topic. Who will leave - to the new server, stay - on the original, or continue to play on both, and how will it change our community.

As to the topic of donor400 items. Donor400 items will not be carried over.

All donor400's will receive elytra wings instead. When discussing this with a friend, who wanted the elytra wings, he said he wants the wings and then he'll sell them. My question is, How long will it take for these to be sellable. If they're an item that only donor400's receive, then they're obviously worth quite a lot. Because we won't be carrying our rares over, no one will be rich, let alone extremely rich, so who will be the ones buying these items?

New commands.
I'm sure we're all looking forward to these. Changebiome, for example. I'm really looking forward to that command.

The /friends command. A lot of people have asked if this is already implemented, or if it ever will be. I personally think this will be a good idea, as people will be able to easily check if any of their friends are online.

Ooh, great! This means the lovely new beds will look great. We'll have all the new items, and mobs. This'll be very exciting.


I'm going to make a poll of how many players think what, so please comment whether you're staying, playing on both, or playing on the new server.

I'll most likely go to the new server, I've completed everything on .net

In saying that, a few of my suggestions have been implemented which already makes me biased to the new server. I make suggestions I like so obviously it's more appealing. The thought of elytra wings will be pretty cool and unique and I believe it'll benefit Cyp a lot as it will most likely include people paying him money for bulk supplies (I know I'll be guilty of this).

Along with a new server and great things, a FULL eco reset will occur, I'm surprisingly happy with this as it was my main goal on .net. No more duped beacons from rollbacks, and many other dupes (please no offtopic about my history).

I hate being nostalgic, and I hate thinking about just staying on one server when there is another option available that tons of my friends are probably on.

I MIGHT stay in the old server if some people I know go on there here and there, (because I'm rich there). Or just might go on the new one because eh, if everyone's having a new start why not join?
But overall I'm picking the new server

 

I'm going to be moving to the new server and going on the old(current) server every once in a while

I'll probably be on more on the new server than the old one. It'll be nice to start over.

 

I hope they will be enabled because you can do so much more with hoppers and cool things, net is pretty limited I think
