Inactive Nether in skyblock map

Hi, I hope I posted in the right section, I'm new to the forum.

I downloaded the SkyBlock Map (the 2.1) and I have a problem. The nether.
I practically can't get the blaze rod, because I haven't spawned nether fortresses nor can I get them to spawn in the nether fortress chunk. The only thing I found spawned in the nether world is the glowstone island with an attached portal back to the overworld.

How can I fix? I need blaze rods for the brewing stand for clerical villager.

Thats weird, fortresses usually are there, did you checked with the f3 menu? Because it doesnt count as a biome, i reccomend downloading the MiniHud mod for fabric and turning on boundaries for structures, once you find a fortresses you just need to place some nether brick (obtainable by piglin) to make some spawnable spots for blazes.
If that doesn't work, another thing you can do is deleate the nether file in your world file (in %appdata) that will make it generate a new nether but it probably would be totally vanilla (no Skyblock generation).

So blazes only spawn in nether brick? I remembered they spawn in the cobblestone as well, as long as it's in the fortress chunck.

 

Afaik that's only for spawners and not natural gen
