So I think it would be incredibly useful, and a great feature, if the server had separate chat channels for the players. One specifically for donors only, with access given by designated prefixes, and with the potential of opening it up to let people create their own custom chat channels. Depending on the limits of the code, which I've not looked at, it may be possible to limit the number of channels created by each user which would be great.

I found a plugin that looks promising, though it may or may not function due to its not being updated in about a year now. And we are a bukkit server, yeah? Anyways, here's the link.

If that plugin does work, everything I mentioned is already possible. You can designate channels to be available only for certain prefixes. In my opinion, this would also be a great addition because if a moderator channel was made, it could open up the use of /helpop for its intended purpose.

Currently, as far as I understand it, staff uses /helpop for communication between themselves while on the server. In the past when I've been staff on other servers, we used /helpop as a means for players on the server to contact staff. It was great since the message would go to all the mods online and response time was much faster and more reliable, something that would be beneficial for skyblock imo.

We should have like a trading chat / coop chat / mod chat / donor chat / regular chat / greenbean chat (Just to let them have something for themselves (Kind like the forums but in-game )

I had thought about the possibility of this splitting the skyblock community a bit, and it definitely could if it were opened too wide.

However, I think that even if it were only implemented for moderator chat, thus giving the /helpop command back to players, that would be a big improvement.

Grabbing the attention of mods can be ridiculously hard, even when several are online. I understand entirely that mods are swamped sometimes and that responding could potentially be difficult, but in that instance, a message normally sent to just one mod would be forwarded to all, which should serve to actually lessen the load on all moderators as a whole. I know that I tend to message certain mods that I may know better than others, or be more comfortable with, and I would guess I'm not the only one. So, due to that, I would bet that certain mods get more messages than others. Giving /helpop to players, by implementing this plugin, would relieve that pressure to some extent.
