Hi, I haven't played net in a while and notice that /realname is now not allowed. I was just wondering why it is no longer allowed. It complicates things a bit because I don't know some peoples IGN like certain mods who have nicks, so I have to ask them in chat which is not easy. I suppose it would be harder for new players to ask and get recognized and receive help because they don't know how to communicate with mods. So, really I'm just asking why it is not allowed anymore. Also why isn't /list list players by rank anymore like in org so it's easier to see which mods are on
I'm pretty sure that was here one year ago. Maybe if Cyp sees this he'll do something. IIRC you can /msg people using their nicks, though.
/realname was removed due to it causing significant "server load" as far as I am aware. Much like how ordered lists had the same impact. So it became a mod only command. /seen became a skygod perk for the same reason. Cyp said this removal was temporary and who knows, it could return with the update.
