know how crews server mineverse has portals to each thing?
why not do the same for .net and .org? and i dont mean add it to mineverse. no dont do that xD

what i mean is, you go to multiplayer and type in the skyblock address, and you log into spawn. from there you have like this beautiful little place (which i cant describe cause itd be a voted upon idea, personally itd be grassy with stone brick and water fountains, maybe a few buildings for hangouts and such) and from here, there would be two portals. one to .net, and one to .org. and you could just /lobby to come back and switch to the other freely.

which some may say no support, cause what about kits and ranks? kits would still stay seperate to each, and everyone would still get their kit and rank, and not have to redonate to get back to their rank.. which may be a pain to do for the admins, granted. id think itd be easier than the uuid thing done in september lol, but idk how any of that works.
or you could have combined kits like mineverse. but personally i like the kits to be seperate lol.
also you may say no support cause its uneeded.. that is true in a way.
but lots of things that get added potentially are uneeded. this just idk.. feels like it would be a good addition. i feel like some people would like this, for reasons i may not be thinking of. just think it over before commenting

i want to add this wouldnt be an immediate thing. its an idea for way down the line in the future, cause this wouldnt be an easy thing to do for various reasons. it would give a chance to implement new features to both servers now that i think of it

anyways support, or no support, ideas to add, etc? comment them
btw this is just an idea, not an actual suggestion. (at least not one at the moment lol)




edit- read fizz's comment. instead of all the hastle, itd be better having portals between servers (if proved being possible to)

tbh i have no clue, thats why i wrote at the bottom its more of an idea lol.

i mean he could copy paste worlds. but like items and warps and etc probably be gone.. actually.. if worlds were copied.. wouldnt the items in them come along? maybe not inventory and echest.. but id imagine chests would be fine..
just warn people ahead of time through broadcasts and forums (if this would work, as i said i have no clue. i mean ive downloaded worlds and chests had items from the uploaders, but we are talking about a server..actually this mightve been a small server world)

or another route, one of them if not both servers would require being started fresh.


then again thats why i said way down the line lol.
for the first one that prob wouldnt happen (not many would be keen to the idea of losing rares and diamonds and stuff, so id imagine if cyp made a poll to refresh server itd get massive amounts of no's)

for the second one, this would then be possible if there ever is a server crash or whatever happened last time long long ago (idk wasnt there for it)

 

Grace, it's possible. Otherwise hub servers wouldn't be a thing.

Anyways, this would need another server. Which would cost more in the long run. It has been suggested many times before and all were denied or pretty much abandoned. Who knows, maybe they have changed their minds. However, I don't see this happening.

 

"another server" these 2 would go into that server, and these would idk, whatever happens to old servers, disconnected or whatever lol.

They would have to buy another server to be the 'Hub Server' or the 'Lobby'.

 

All things considered, this would be rather convenient (and visually appealing), but it's not all that hard to just type in "org" instead of "net" or vice versa, eh?

Yes Mineverse consists of many servers . It's not all one server.

There's no way the servers wont be reset. They'd both have to be reset in order to be connected to the lobby, etc.

 

on that, place the world copies in after the reset lol, long as items were in a chest (and nothing got corrupted) should be okeh, only thing is warps commands and such :/

 

tbh considering if either ever does crash again.. could just add them to mineverse. and get rid of the need for another hub.

half off topic but mineverse skyblock... looks like it needs work. spawn is just like grass, no warps to shops or other warps, not player made anyways. and if there is server warps in there, gl finding them lol. idk just disorganized and needs work to me. i may be wrong idk
edit- whoops again, adding to mineverse would be a problem cause of existing ranks.. but tbh its donation for a rank, that dosent have to be given, so oh well. lol

 

Just putting a portal on each server that already exists to the other would have a similar if not identical effect to doing this. And it would be much easier.
