Does anyone else get this after a while of playing, where the game gets completely and utterly boring? Or does anyone have any suggestions on how to cure this? Im suffering this right now, i dont know what to do.

Well, I usually edit my island, or make a shop, or play skyblock.org.

I've had that before, taking a short break has worked for me.

Three easy steps to cure boredom:

Step 1: Realise the game has changed, skyblock and every other server out there gets boring after a while.

Step 2: #Warning: Might contain more than one step# Close laptop, shut down PC, switch off tablet; whatever you are using. Look at a window. Look beyond the window. Stare at the golden-green abyss shimmering in the light of the radiant sun that calls itself nature; the outside world!

Step 3: Go do something else. Play outside, read a book, murder your loved ones. It doesn't matter. Do something else.

    Thank you for your attention.

Glad you appreciate them. You are so very welcome.

Your complaint, on the other hand, has been noted and filed.
I'd suggest starting a project (preferably in survival) that'll keep you busy for for a while: flattening a mountain to sea level, see where that gets you, build something massive, dig out a 124*93*28 room, decorate it to your liking, make an underwater city, create a town somewhere and put a grass hill over it and make it look like nothing's there...etc. etc.
The possibilities are endless. You don't necessarily have to be on a server to show off your builds. In the end, you are the only person you're trying to impress and occupy. Get a refreshingly new texture pack, get out of that way too familiar look that has been your old texture pack for ages. Re-invent the game for yourself.
You don't necessarily have to do these things, but as I said, in the end, the final decision is always yours.

Great feedback, but narrowing it down even further, although the suggestions you gave were great and such, I would prefer it to be narrowed down to .net, seeing as you are actually playing with others at not alone, and actually having people to chat and 'play' with. Suggestions of what to do inside .net, would be much much more appreciated.

I kind of got bored of skyblock itself, so the main reason I join is for the sake or chatting with people... My island has been untouched for a good 8 months now.

Although I could imagine that gathering an unwise amount of smoothstone and/or creating a nice landscape, or scenery, or mountains with said stone, would be quite (pardon my French) the s***. Or devoting your time to making an upside down island, mirroring the current or starting feom scratch, I honestly wouldn't know. Best of luck with whatever you'll be coming up with, nonetheless.

I sit on my island and talk to people in chat.
My island hasn't been changed (other than cleaned up from my brother) in forever.

If you're getting bored of it, try out skyblock.org, while in game do /economy

Lol my net island is still griefed, it was never fixed despite me providing screenshots and having asked for help. 4 beacons, a good 2.5 stacks of gold blocks, and tons of quartz just gone XD Fortunately I don't play enough to care anymore though :p
Oh yeah and I logged on the other day to discover that my lockettes apparently decided not to work, because all my diamonds and rares were missing from the chest I kept them in :/

But actually on topic of this thread, what I did when I got bored of net way back when was tear down my island and remodel it. And I mean TEAR it down. To the last bedrock. It's like starting a new island, but not having to do all the annoying grinding for materials again, which is why I quit Skyblock lol. Just one giant grind.
But yeah try that. I found that it occupied me for quite a bit.

Not popular enough to do that xD

Suggested and answered already, thanks for the tip though.:)

And i thought me losing my rares was bad, about 1 beacon and 50 diamonds hahahahhahahaah, that'll actually take forever for me to do, and i've restarted my island about 4 times in the past month lol. Thanks anyway!:)
