As you know back in 2014 donors had coloured name tags above their heads. I've always wondered why they never returned when mineverse has a perfectly working name tag system. In any case I propose a name tag improvement which will help mods as well as players identify players ranks. So in this example the name tag basically identifies you by rank you are and colour codes it. Of course it is optional to include the prefix but I think that adds a nice touch to the name tags. The benefit is players can visually see which player is what rank and helps mods distinguish players ranks more efficiently than /list. Another idea is just to add this to mods name tags to let players know who has just come out of no where (especially with the [Mod] Krissy_x eg in a name tag) or so players who see a mod online and cannot tell who it is by nickname can easily contact us. Support - This is a cool idea, I think there should be an option though. Skygods would get boycotted because they are at skin comps for stuff they don't need. Basically skygods would be spammed everywhere they go.
Support, I really liked having the colored name tags. It would be nice to have it back once again. Only issue I see are players with long names; their name tag would just remain white.
The above example shows a tag that has a substantially long name and the prefix too and nothing is wrong. I suppose either the plugin used is different to the one we had before or it was fixed up.
Support. Personally, I think it would be nice if this also got implemented on all 3 of the servers. (Survival, Economy and Skywars)
Skin comps are an optional activity and not relevant to the overall appearance of the server. Just because a person is a donor or skygod does not mean they wont be selected to win. Besides the number of skygods who participate in skin comps are low. Remember you can still do /list and message a skygod and they cannot really hide anyway.
I was just using skin comps as an example. When I am at public events, people don't know my username because my nick is different. When I originally used my old username as my nickname, I was boycotted because I apparently "didn't need the resources".
This should be made toggleable, because although I completely support this idea, I would not necessarily want to have my donor rank advertised any time I warp off of my island. I recieve enough requests for godded and repaired items already,
It's not even the skin competition thing. Somehow, without even speaking in chat or leaving my island, I can log on and someone will be asking me for things. #Donor400Problems #FirstWorldProblems
