Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) No, I have never been banned from a server. I am usually very friendly to other players.

Why do you think you should be a mod? In my opinion I would make a good mod because I am very good at trying to solve problems. I am also very helpful to people when they request the help. I do have respect for other players. (I know everyone has there moments with their tempers we all do.) I am also very passionate when it comes to playing Minecraft. . what I mean is that when I am logged on I am really focused on what I am doing. When someone does ask for my help I really go out of my way to help or at least try to help that individual.

I have spent a lot of time on my off days playing in Skyblock and the more I play on this server the more I love it. I have made a few friends on this server, which I will and cannot name because I do truly would like a fair chance just like everyone else to become a mod. I do think of myself as a mother figure most of the time so sometimes you will see me in chat saying, "Please watch your language." or I would tell someone that they are being rude to another player and tell them that, " it is not nice to treat a player like that." In my real human life I do happen to be a parent and that is where I get the "mommy" aspect from. So if you do see me say something like that it is only because I am just being myself.


How long can you be active on the server every day? As of right now I am always on through out the day. I do have a part time job with the local food store. My daughter is at school during the day 5 days a week so on my off days I am on all day long until she and my husband come home. I am also on at night since I suffer from a lot of pain and I don't sleep much. So my hours are pretty much all the time. I also live in the south so it is always hot and it is hard to sleep anyway. Hours M-F 8 am to 4 pm, and 7 pm to 12 am, Sat-Sun 12 pm to 3 pm, and 7 pm to 12 am.


Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I do have past experience as a mod. I have been a moderator (staff) on the other server for two years. I have dealt with a lot of immature kids and yes some adults as well. I have kicked people for being rude to other players and I have banned people for being non compliant with the server rules. I have been inactive with this server since June due to the lack of players. The server itself is still up and running, but there is never more than 2 players on at a time. I did feel that it was time to move on to bigger and better things. I do check back on that server from time to time. I do this because I want to check up on some old friends and to see if the server has made any improvements or it has been updated.

Your application is well typed and gets straight to the point. That's what I look for in an application. Yes, you could make a larger application, but this seems fine to me.
I have not seen you online yet, but hopefully, soon I will, as I'd like to meet you.
I'd like you to get used to the forums more before applying.

I want to give you a few tips.
1. Explain yourself a bit more. Allow yourself to be open to the community. Know not everyone will accept or support you, but allow yourself to be available to the improvements you could make.
2. Be more active. Just be there a bit more, allow everyone to know you as a friendly face.
3. Be on whenever you have freetime. I know you have a daughter and a loving husband, allow yourself to make it a hobby.

And finally, which this is the probably the best advice I could give to you, fall in love.
Fall in love with the suicidal teens. Fall in love with the ones who use this server as an escape. Fall in love with the children playing for the first time. Fall in love with the adults who need an escape from their jobs and their families. Fall in love with the voices of the innocent, fall in love with the way the little kids squeak out of excitement. Fall in love with the sad girls, the sad boys, the happy girls, the happy boys, the happy men, the sad men, the sad women, the happy women. Fall in love with the ones who don't even know how to open their inventories and fall in love with the ones who have been playing for years. Fall in love with the ones who don't know what the server even is and the ones who grew up in it. Fall in love with each individual player like you would your own daughter. Take your time, relax and allow yourself to see this server as what it is, a family.

 

I think your application is well written and straight to the point! However you need to show why you are passionate about becoming a moderator and what makes you unique and how you can make an impact on the server! You also need to show what qualifications you have and maybe lengthen the " why do you think you should be a mod?" section (Because that's basically the essay/multiple large paragraphs section)!

I'm not giving any support at the moment, but I will keep my eye out for you! (Also, like me, you need at least a month experience on the server before becoming a mod )

I know my application is short and to the point. I just did not want to pack a bunch stuff that was a lot of fluff that a lot of people do to get what they want.

I have learned over the years that you just need to get strait to the point. I am very mature. . . ie I am 37 years old and I am very passionate when I play my video games. These games do allow me to escape the every day. I do have a lot of free time on my hands since I only work a part time job and my daughter does go to school all day. I also have medical issues that keep me from doing a lot of things so again that is why I am on a lot. I know I am new to this server and I will continue to meet and talk to with other players and yes I also have met a few friends on here and I do honestly tend to meet more interesting people and hope to make more friends along the way.
