I have a confession.....I'm not actually new here. This isn't even my first post. But it's my first in over a year, and I've never really introduced myself, so... Good evening, my name is Esty3350. I started with Skyblock awhile ago, in spring 2013. Built up my island, donated $25, and by a fair amount of luck came across a small fortune. Someone I was trading with decided to give me a completely free stack of diamonds, to start me off. Eventually, when zombies and pigmen could still be spawned and beacons were still cheap, I could build a 6-beacon, 244 gold block pyramid at the height of my island. At one point some stranger who had tp'ed to my island shop snuck out through the ceiling and invited his friends over for a good looting and griefing while I was distracted with someone else. A lot of stuff was destroyed, including my entire pyramid and beacons, and I couldn't find someone to rollback or even respond for awhile. I decided to quit the server at that point in August 2013. My younger brothers only started playing over Christmas holiday, and I decided to restart as well. As of now my island is fully repaired, minus the beacons, some grass, and most spawners, and I suppose this post here is confirmation that I'm back. Lots has changed, and many, many people have come and gone. But I think I'll stick around. Anyone selling a beacon? tl;dr Rejoined server after a year and a half leave of absence. Most of the island is still standing - er, floating after a past grief. Here to stay. Oh, and AMA if you want.
