MINEVERSE/SKYBLOCK DISCORD
Hi everyone welcome to this tutorial to our Discord server! Discord is used by Mineverse and Skyblock players, so you will see players from both communities. To join the discord please click here .
Getting Started
You will see that there is a tab on the side called "Text Channels". You click on each of the tabs where you would like to communicate in but make sure you type in the correct section!

#alerts-rules ~ used to announce things or the rules.
#general ~ usually speak about anything to do with servers or anything.
#mineverse-help ~ request for assistance on the mineverse server.
#skyblock_net_help ~ request for assistance on the NET skyblock server.
#other-games ~ chat for other games. DO NOT ADVERTISE!
#derp_chat ~ usually used to check your rank (!rank).
#music ~ play with the music bots.

Voice Channels
You have voice channels to speak with other users located just below the text channels.


You can mute your microphone or headphones/speakers using the buttons near your profile.

If you click the settings button on the right, then it leads you to your profile settings, away from MV/SB discord.

To change your discord status, do the following in the GIF below.

To change notification settings follow the GIF below.

This is a really well written guide. It is simple yet effective. Although Discord isn't too hard to use, I'm sure this will help a great many people.

Maybe say that you need to type !rank into the chat to know your rank-otherwise its not exactly clear what it is/its purpose.
