Mute Appeals

Why do people appeal for mutes? I don't get it at all. If u get a mute just deal with it for like the amount of time u were muted, usually its like 1 day or even just 1-12hrs. Someone explain please xD

 

same reason as a ban appeal - to apologise for what you did, own up to it, promise it won't happen again, and (potentially) get the punishment moved

 

...or pretend it wasn't your fault, moan that someone else is to blame and not own up to just doing the wrong thing.

Some mute are done by console and sometimes it can be for an invalid reason or error.

Mutes aren't necessarily that short. Some can be for a few days too

 

Right those make sense. But i mean like people appeal for 1-12hr mutes, and i think its super unnecessary

Make up your mind

You corrected me saying I was muted for 5 months into I was muted permanently. This is incorrect as I was muted for a total time period of 5 months, and yes, while it was at the time permanent, this has turned out to be false as I am no longer muted.
