I don't know what to call this, I guess you could call it a rant, but I don't know.

So, recently I've been reading that in the Minecraft ToS(Terms of Service) it states that selling items in-game is illegal, so making money off servers is illegal.

I'm not sure if the will actually go through with this, most likely because they will inforce realms.

In my opinion if this does happen Minecraft will go downhill. Honestly, the best part of Minecraft is the servers. You get to meet and play with other people that you wouldn't be able to meet in realms. I think people would stop playing the game because they no longer have access to that part of the game.

How do you think this will affect Minecraft? Give me your input

 

Honestly I think it's kinda stupid for this to be illegal. Mojang can kiss their servers goodbye than.

 

(Basic Version) If the server owners can't make money, then they can't keep the server running.

 

That paragraph is about selling MineCraft accounts, not server stuff.

 

Wouldn't it be kind of hard to enforce this?

 

Well $$ is what keeps servers with custom ip addresses (76% of servers) running so yea mc would go downhill
