Mods jobs being a bit more....

I don't know, maybe a bit more organized? I don't want it to be like an actual job, and I still want it to be fun, but I feel like we may need get-together's every now and then? Just to like, you know, report on how the server is doing... any special notes that should be considered... I dunno. It's just a suggestion.

That's why I was going to put a list of people who already are 1 strike on a ban. Non griefing bridgers, people who dropped all their starter items at spawn once, etc. It got to be a hassle though. I mostly let the minor stuff pass after fixing the problem and warning them in scary CAPS.


But yeah, we should use the mod forum to get some ground rules or shared notes up. Some absolutes. If they do this, they get kicked/tempbanned/warned. If they do that, then do this, they do not pass go. They do not collect $200.

Then again, I like being creative when I find people flagrantly ignoring the rules, or trying to drop me in the void when I go up to them and say "I'm a mod, you realize what you're doing can get you banned?"

I still love that 1 person who tried to bribe me after I killed her when she tried to stop me from confiscating the items she just stole from a donor's island. And I picked up all her items. The same items she later tried to bribe me with.

I break bridges with stone pressure plates, I like how it duplicates them though, because they only take out like 2 or 3 cobblestone each.

 

I totally agree. I mean I know it's kind of simple to just say 3 words about all that, but seriously I just totally agree.

 

The REAL trick to taking out bridges with stone plates is to fly and get positioned high enough that you don't land, but low enough that you DO trigger the plates. Then just hold rightclick and go down the line.​
