A couple a days ago, I went through a major scam that could've had cost me 4 diamonds. But thanks to the staff, we are able to play on this great server, but sometimes, I feel that they're not given enough credit. Maybe once in a month, we can make a mural at /spawn of a random mod. It'll tell the story of how they joined, how much people they've helped, and have like a mini greenie approval rating (a poll that would show how greenies feel about that certain mod). I feel its a good way for people to get too know the mods, and maybe show that they're not just there to ban people. Its more of a PR stunt. It might serve as an example to other people who else want to be mods. Top of that, it might intimidate scammers, greifers, and bridgers! It lastly could also be open to people who like to make pixelart... we can make like a large statue of that mod. Top of that, new players can see people who have been helping the server! It looks so empty.... I wonder what we can do about that.....
I appreciate mods, but only when they're demoted. This can only cause resentment, unnecessary targeting, abuse, and other problems within the already-toxic staff team and community. And I don't think staff would like this either. Not to mention that this is much too complex for any of the staff or Cypriot himself to set up on a monthly basis.
I don't see why the negativity here. Appreciating staff is something players are not required to do but can do the same way they appreciate any other person if they choose. I think we get the recognition from our ranks and our job is fine and I don't feel like we need murals at spawn or anything fancy.
This is a nice idea. But like krissy and Sean said, they get recognition from their ranks and jobs. I also Believe that considering their high positions, that they know what they are talking about. Maybe just thank them from time to time, that's what I do. Your thought was very kind, but its unnecessary.
