The support obviously matters, but i think even with a 100% support ratio you won’t actually get it unless all staff thinks you are a good addition to the team
^ Yeah. The support / no support thing is to see what the community thinks. At the end of the day, it's higher staff that choose who they think is the best fit.
You do want to at least make sure majority of your ratings are support. Once you start getting more no supports than supports then you may not be the right candidate. Otherwise it is you words and actions that determine whether you will be a good staff.
Yes as the others said, the amount of supports doesn't really matter as some people got promoted with barely 2-5 supports and some got promoted with 100+ supports so it varies from player to player. At the end its the higher staff decision to who they should promote next and if they will deserve getting staff and if they would be a good one
I dont think its the amount of supports people give you makes you a moderator. Although it's the staff decisions, mainly the staff managers
Being a mod or even a staff is definitely not depended on ratings sometimes. The main aspect of being a staff is can you connect with the community and also help them in a professional way. So I seen many people who have try to apply, not saying they are bad but they don't have that aspect yet. That is my opinion... so if you disagree I would like to hear your side of the story.
The ratings are not what is count, just shows the person viewing it the broad readiness of the applicant ;p If there are people voicing their support for this person to be mod then it is likely they would
I understand where you are coming from and quote from BertBerry previously its more of do you have a connections with the communities, staffs, etc. If you don't have the traits of what a mod should be then ratings are utterly ineffective.
To be a mod, you need to be known around the community as well as meet the requirements. From there, it's a matter of how you are as a person that can determine your eligibility
