Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) Yes, I was banned for looting by Lycel (on .net).
I also got banned for bridging by SugarCane (also on .net).

I understand the rules and just so I can remember the rules, I keep a post-it-
note beside me on my wall just in case so I can remember them allllllll. (Did that on purpose). I will make sure I know what the rules are and I will make sure I follow them. I have learned from my mistakes and from the bans and I won't do this ever again (and I'll make sure I won't). I regret those moments every time I look on my application.

Why do you think you should be a mod? I think I am ready for a job like this. I have seen so many people asking for help these days so I keep thinking, "Man, it would be great being a mod right now." I know the server has merged and everything but I still think I can handle a server like this. (I understand that there are already a lot of moderators that work for this server, but most of the mods are not usually on at the time.) I think I should be a mod on this server especially because it's just the right size for me and it will make me ready for larger servers if I ever want to become a mod there.

• Helpful: I like to help ANYONE who is in need of help, whether it's returning lost items, or answering questions people ask me. I am on my computer to help people physically, but if not, then I try to go on Minechat whenever I can and see if people need help. (But not physically help, as in going to that person). (I am always helpful and ask people for help, but I always get messages from people. I ask people out loud but I can't make them ask out loud either). I will also tell a person if something they are doing is wrong like trading sand or buckets by saying, "Bucket trading is illegal!" or "Sand trading is not allowed!", stuff like that. I will also make sure that person knows the rules and I will tell them if they need to know since I keep a post-it-note beside me on my wall, or I will tell them to simply look it up themselves but I won't since I'm not rude.
• Enthusiastic: I love Minecraft and I love this server. Playing on servers makes me feel happy because I get to be around a lot of people and that encourages me to be kind. Plus, when I'm bored, I'll just ask my mom for my computer, and play on Skyblock.
• Kind: I am a very kind person around other players even when they aren't being nice to me. My parents used to tell me: "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." I think this is very true and I keep telling myself this whenever people try to be mean to me. #StompOutBullying!
• Honest: I am very honest and I always think "Honesty is the best policy" and it's always better to tell the truth because when you tell a lie, the other person will always figure out that you're lying in the future. I will also make sure other people on the server will tell the truth towards others.
• Respect/Respectful: I respect many people no matter what and I try to stay positive and keep the server positive too, as in trying to get others to respect others around them. I also treat skygods and donors and mods as if everyone was equal. I don't make fun of a new player of what they do, like make a mistake, instead I help the player out to help him or her understand the server better, and not laugh at him or her, unlike some people, you know who you are...
• Safe: What I mean by safe in this case means I won't over use my commands as in I won't ban a person for them doing nothing, and I'll make sure I won't ban, mute, or kick an innocent player.
• Aware: I am aware of things which means that I will always watch the chat so that I can know whenever people need help with anything, I can help them right away and they don't have to wait a long time for someone to help them.
• Patient: I can relate to this with "Aware" because if I am a mod, I'll be patient and I'll watch the chat to see if anyone needs justice! (LOL) (or help).
• Funny: I am usually funny and this helps when someone is feeling sad if because that person got grieved, scammed, or lost anything, I will be there to help get a little sense of humor in them so they won't be so sad when they lose anything. I am usually funny also in the normal chat so I can give a few people just a little laughter.
• Trustworthy: When people ask me to search their island or anything that has to do with keeping/holding someone else's items, I will always be careful with it and I'll never give it to anyone so they can use it, and I won't grief that person's island (if they have /trusted me), because I'm trustworthy!
• Active: I am usually on the weekends but definitely I can play longer on breaks. I was on for like 3 weeks everyday, so if you're saying I'm never on, check yourself, because I WAS!

How long can you be active on the server every day? I am usually on skyblock.net a lot. But usually if I am not online, its mostly because I have a lot of school work to do at home. (I am in 11th grade at my high school). I also have after-school band practices from 3:00 to 5:00 pm but not on Fridays. (My band teacher sometimes cancels a day due to errands, illness, etc).
My normal school days are from 8:30 am to 2:40 pm.
(These times below are affected of how much homework I have or my band teacher may cancel some days for band.) I also have competitions for band on weekends. If it's a field comp, probably the whole day. If it's a street comp, it usually ends few hours after 12 pm (like around 2-5). So these competitions affect the times below as well! Also, if my parents ground me, it will affect these times as well.
Monday: 6pm-9pm.
Tuesday: 6pm-9pm.
Wednesday: 6pm-9pm.
Thursday: 6pm-9pm.
Friday: 6:30pm-10pm.
Saturday: 12pm-11pm.
Sunday: 12pm-9pm.

How long have you been playing Skyblock?
I'd say for about a year, because not too long ago I got a trophy for being a member for 1 year.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes, I became a Mod for my friend's server. I don't do anything much on it but I have made a pvp arena, bouncy house (lol), 3 parkours, and a guards tower for the pvp arena so the other mods that are online can view the people who are battling to see if there are any cheaters or hackers or modders and ban them right away.

Do you meet the requirements for staff?
Yes. I probably posted 50 times but I'm not exactly sure, I set up my 2Fa, I'm registered on the Skyblock Forums for more than 2 weeks, and I do have Skype.

Here is a little bit about myself:
1: My first name is Matthew, (or Matt), I prefer being called Matt but you can call me either one if you're not calling me Gamzee or Gam.
2: I am a friendly guy, if someone is in need of help I will help them! If someone asks me for help, I usually help them out.
3: I am a 17 year old teen (birthday is April 11th). I was born in the year 2000 in the state of California. I can speak a little bit of Spanish but I am learning.
4: I get excited a lot. Sometimes I get too excited over things that aren't really too much to be excited about.
5: After school, I play the trumpet in my marching band class.
6: I have 4 people in my current family: me, my brother, my mom, and my dad.
(I understand if these facts may be useless, but I want to get a chance to make friends on the forums and get people to know me better!)

What is the point of making a new application with the exact same information in it? Yes, clearing people's
posts makes your application cleaner, and erases the negative comments and all the no supports. But why?
If you have changed and became more mature, we will be able to tell. Locking your previous application
(which has 2,764 views and 276 replies when I made this post) don't do anything to those who already read
your application and made their opinions, it just shows that you want to make people think you are mature
enough for a mod. Think about that.

 

Hmm, change up the colours a bit, they're too bright (for me at least) add more information in a few sections.

So you're saying that less that 2 weeks ago, you were banned by SugarCane for a reason you haven't listed, never appealed, and got unbanned due to the ban reset? That doesn't show reform from your previous bans. Moderators do not break rules. :/

I understand that but the thing I was banned for wasn't even recent, it was before I donated. (Don't ask how I got caught now).

Because she agrees with others and disagrees with you, perhaps? It's a neutral rating, I'm sure you can get over it.
It can't have been too long ago, after the logs reset, so a few moths ago... all the same it's a good idea to write is down in a way people can make sense of it so you're a) being honest and b) avoiding questions like mine.

Also, Amnesty is a section within the appeals section that will allow you to confess any rules you have broken and not get banned for them when the moderators eventually find out.

It seems like you didn't read my comment from your other application. Show the community that you have changed and help out in-game. Expose your good qualities and use then to benefit yourself being a good moderator. Also rating people's feedback with disagrees, especially on your application, isn't really a good trait as they are giving feed back, on what you need to work on.

 

Thanks for your opinion. I help a lot in game but people don't see it because they ask me in /msg all the time so it is impossible for other people to see that I'm helping out. I really hate that people tell me to help out more because I feel like I help too much to where the point where I need to let other people help. But again thanks for your opinion!
