Has your minecraft Not been working lately? I am here to help. I have listed and resolved some of the most had issues with minecraft.

Error 503

When error 503 is encountered within the game, it means that a service that the game is trying to connect to is unavailable.

If you receive this error, and no outage is current within any of the minecraft servers, please check your internet, antivirus and/or firewall connections. You'll need to make sure that your computer and network devices can send and receive data to the following services:

minecraft.net

account.mojang.com

authserver.mojang.com

sessionserver.mojang.com

skins.minecraft.net

textures.minecraft.net

If the issue persists, you can try again later, or consult your system's help center on network settings.

Updating Video Card Drivers

Description: Outdated video card drivers or an insufficient video card have caused Minecraft to crash.

Solution: You'll first need to determine what type of video card drivers you have. Do not use Windows Update to automatically detect the drivers that you need; the manufacturers are always more up to date. Please locate your operating system below and follow the accompanying steps:

Windows:

Press the “windows” key and “r” at the same time.

Type “dxdiag” into the run window and press enter.

Go to the display tab in the dxdiag window.

Look for the Manufacturer name.

Linux:

Open your terminal.

Enter in “lspci -v | less”.

Look for the line that says VGA Compatible or Video Controller.

Look for the Manufacturer and model name.

Mac OS X:

Most Apple computers come with built-in drivers and a graphics card that cannot be changed. Please make sure that your system is up to date.

Once you have the manufacturer's name, you can visit their website to detect or locate which drivers you need.

Windows:

AMD/ATI

Nvidia - Auto - Manual

Intel - Auto - Manual

Linux:

AMD/ATI

Nvidia

Intel

After you have downloaded and installed the drivers (to install, just click on the downloaded driver and follow the prompts), you will need to restart your computer. If you still receive the error after this fix, then your computer probably does not meet the system requirements to play Minecraft.

Frames or pixel format not accelerated

Description: The Minecraft launcher won't start and a file called hs_err_pid.log is created that mentions a problematic frame, or Java tell you that you have bad video card drivers due to pixel format not accelerated.

Solution: problematic frame or pixel format not accelerated is usually caused by having out of date or bad video card drivers, which result in the graphics card not knowing how to handle certain OpenGL commands. (follow above subsection to install required drivers)
While most of the time this error is caused by the video card drivers being out of date, it can also be caused by a gamepad device, or something being seen as a gamepad device (Headphones, controller, etc).

Error: org.lwjgl.LWJGLException

Description: When the launcher tries to run Minecraft, you get a crash report that starts with: org.lwjgl.LWJGLException: Could not create context. The reason why Minecraft cannot start is that some of its files haven't been downloaded. This is most commonly due to an antivirus program mistakenly blocking some of the files, such as lwjgl.dll or other files.
Solution: Temporarily disable your antivirus program, download Minecraft once again, then try logging in.

Bad login

bad login error is sometimes encountered when trying to connect to a multiplayer server. Because it happens after you've already logged into Minecraft, it is not related to your account login. This error can happen for a few reasons, but it's usually related to a problem in communication between your computer/network and the server that you are trying to connect to.

Possible solutions are:

Check that your network connection is enabled, and that no programs are blocking outgoing connections.

Try disabling any existing firewall program

Restart your modem/router.

It is also possible that this can occur when the Mojang servers are having difficulties processing requests. If you have tried the above solutions, please wait a bit and try your server login again later.

Minecraft is slow (Huge Controvercy)

Slowness in games can often be difficult to diagnose, but it is usually alleviated by having a computer that meets the system requirements, and having a steady broadband internet connection. While there are many factors that could potentially contribute to slowness in Minecraft, most of them can be sorted into two categories:

Computer processing (low framerate):
If your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements, you will probably experience slowed gameplay. When playing Minecraft, press F3 to view information about the game. Look at the top row and locate the FPS. If this number is lower than 30, the game may be running too slowly due to your software configuration or insufficient graphical and computer processing hardware.

Network connection (latency or lag):
This is usually caused by a slow or inconsistent internet connection, or by a slow server. In general, the information is not going between your computer and the server that you're playing on as quickly as it needs. While Minecraft may perform similarly to the issue above, your framerate may not always be low, and you may experience characters "jumping" from location to location as the server and computer catch up with what should be located where. If you're experiencing slowed performance due to a connection, you may need to pause or stop any current downloads, change your network settings, or you may require a faster internet connection.

Can't connect to Minecraft.net

If you're receiving the error "Can't connect to Minecraft.net", please visit Minecraft.net/download and download the current version of the launcher. If you have the current version of the launcher, this will be indicated by the fact that a version number and various section tabs are displayed in the top centre.
