The length of time a game survives, in the case minecraft, is 8 + XY, such that Y=Number of huge game changing plans which the players like. Y can be increasing the variety of things that can be done, improving the gameplay, essentially Y will make the game more interesting. But Y cannot = make the game easier. X= number of years the changes will extend Minecraft's 'life'. If most of Y is big changes, X=3. If most of Y is small changes, X=2. If most of Y are minor changes, X=1. #Algebric Equations #Very hard
The difference, is thankfully, they don't charge you for every small incremental way that *ahem* other fruit-named companies do.
Interesting theory. Let's see how it is in real life (how long Minecraft stays a hit among sandbox games). Note: players communities are what prolongs game lifespan. While gamers are devoted and stay with their game, it lives. (just how many of gamers here know about Zork? Nethack? Old games, but they still have considerable amount of fans)
When I saw the snapshot with the horse I was like oh f*ck no, so now I spend my time on servers and never under any circumstances will go.back also Slime blocks are the stupid thing, I would prefer jumping on a slime for a trampoline
I don't know about you but I'm exited for /fill. Do you know how much of a pain it was to do /setblock and have a command block for every single block you wanted to place?
