NA MindSensation's Application for Moderator

ILY OMG. GET MOD ALREADY

 

Saying my opinion shouldn't start an argument in this application. I totally respect others opinion's, but this is what I think about Mind and it will change once I see improvement.

 

Support! You are really active and always help in chat. You're quite friendly. You can be immature at times, but that's ok. You know when to be mature. You know what you can say when and where, and you know what you can't say. I think you'd be a great addition to the team. I hope you're promoted!

Adding on, you have gotten a lot of recent kicks lately. It doesn't seem you have learned your leason from them. Some of them you requested for fun things, others were not.

Yeah support Mind was a good mod.

1. You don't know the difference between mini modding and helping.
Minimodding
- instructing a mod to do something
- a player saying they will ban someone for doing something
- telling a mod how to do their job in general
- kissing up to mods I consider mini modding too.

Helping
- telling a player about rules they aren't aware of
- answering questions in chat
- telling a person not to break a rule

2. Mini modding is allowed, even though it's annoying to the mods, and you're acting like it's some big rule ppl have to follow.

3. Mind was a mod for over a year or something. Of course he's going to act like one.

You would have fun seeing some of the things in staff chat. Some of the best mods - and admins- here curse like sailors.

Mind is not a moderator now, so.
I see mini-modding in a different perspective than you, but yes, it is allowed on this server. A player saying they will ban someone is pretending to be a staff member, and that is an automatic ban. Kissing up to the mods is usually just trying to get attention to achieve or get something. And so on. I do not want to start an argument on this application, so if you want we can discuss this in private message before it gets off topic also.

 

Wouldn't acting like a mod make us know how he mods more?

 

No, because he can just help like regular players that are applying for mod can. Although he was a moderator and he is use to all the input and everything, he is not a moderator right now so he shouldn't act full mod until he actually is one. He can help and do that stuff, but I think he brings it to far, when he is not a moderator.

 

I still don't see what's wrong with acting like a mod
If he changes how he acts, doesn't that mean we're supporting 2 different people?

No, I think he's acting too much like a moderator when he's not. He should be helping and the regular things for a non-moderator to do, but he's acting like he actually is a mod. It's his opinion how to act, but I think he's taking it too far.

It's not bad, it's just I do not like how he is acting like a full moderator when he is not and only an applier. That is just my opinion though.

 

Guys, please leave your opinions and leave. This is a mod application. Not a place to fight and start a flame war. It's getting way too off topic.

Made my application, on what, the 25th? Okay, consider every kick after the 25th (since that's when I actually started filtering myself) Blurted kicked me because I messed up and swore as habit. After that was when I stopped. Sarge kicked me because I accidentally repeated a message twice when I was still learning a client, Roblox kicked me because someone asked how to get food in chat (I responded that the best way to regain hunger was to kill themselves, which is true), and blurted kicked me because I messed up and didn't /r correctly, resulting in one swear word being put into chat. All of my kicks since my application are perfectly explainable, I filter myself in order to set a good example for people while remaining mature in chat.

As for "acting like a mod," Emerald, I wrote you a paragraph on how letting players know the rules in chat is completely fine, because it prevents others from making the same mistake. I've talked to several other moderators about this, and they agree with what I'm saying. Since you first posted, I've improved by not overly spamming or replying and by taking help and warnings to personal message.

If you still disagree, I completely understand, just personal message me. There have been too many responses at this point.

Km can verify that I wasn't actually nicking myself. I used a glitch to communicate with staff, and KM thought I was nicking myself (I wasn't). Complete misunderstanding.
