So basically, if you have a farm without a crop hopper and then place one, it should harvest the crops instead of just leaving them fully grown. This is good for moving crop hoppers to a different location. I know it is a niche problem but it would save me and other players some time. I just find it annoying manually harvesting crops to increase efficiency.
I don't see how it could discern between a melon that grew naturally vs a melon that was placed for decoration. It wouldn't be good if you had a decorative pumpkin/melon build, started up a crophopper farm at y=-64, then went back to discover your masterpiece had chunks of melons missing missing.
Was gonna support, but I'm clearly not knowledgable enough on eco to have thought of this, although i did start playing more, good point so I'll stay neutral for now
