Ok so I see people all of the time saying "Ill trade 20 Grass for $10 Donor" well we all think that is a horrible deal and nobody would take it but if you go to the donate part of the website and go to items and it says $5 for 10 grass and that just seems crazy but 20 Grass is = to $10 so I was wondering if you could lower that bcz it just seems crazy!! Thx For reading
I honestly think this is a bad idea for one reason. This is a game. People can use in game items for irl. But I think it is fine as it is right now.
Well your right but its just been bothering me so much we need to tell them that that trade will never be accepted
Are you suggesting that there should be a way of telling people how much a donation is worth? If this is not the case then ignore the next paragraph I would normally agree, however, we should be discouraging people from trading in game items for donations because then we have the issue where little jimmy agrees to a trade and uses his dads credit card, his dad then finds out and bans him from using minecraft (I know, extreme but keep with me). Jimmys dad could then ask for a refund from skyblock and therefore it wouldn't effect little jimmy whereas the dude he traded with would be out let's say 5 diamonds and would blame skyblock and this May lead to a loss of players
The prices of items aren't set by the staff, they're set by the players. This was mentioned in another thread somewhere, not sure which one. I think the post was by Gemmalove though.
I always say player determine the cost for trades, items and more. So if they want you to pay 50 diamonds for 10 donor thats just what they will do. While if you pay $5 for some grass you probably could afford 25 donor, but the prices of the shop are fixed and I believe during sales only ranks are altered. So either way both prices cannot be lowered, thus no support.
