Hi, I'm Donna Rodgers, and am an old player. I've played quite a bit with Purplevillager1. My husband and I built a massive sky block jungle with a 3-d river and filled it piece by piece with water. I also built a Grecian home. It took me all of December and part of January to build. I actually did work for some of the players just to earn materials. It was two layers deep. One layer was the beautiful jungle and the other had farms and such on it.

I can't remember if my husband was the original owner, or my daughter, or me, but that fact is that I am now stuck on a tiny island that is brand new. I purchased /fly long ago because I was doing so much work on it and am used to flying to build in creative.

I'm a former creative admin on another server so I know we used to be able to find some user data and wondered if there is any possibility you can find where my island might be or if Purple may have saved the location. It would be awfully hard to miss if you ever saw it.

I am not sure if maybe I lost it because I went back to my original user name but I doubt it since I was able to log into the forums with my name . I have had two user names, Esssence2 and AnnodynS. I think it should be under Esssence2. Perhaps if I changed my name back, I would find my original island?

If you can't do anything I understand, but if you ever see it, can you send me the coords. I don't often see mods so I thought I'd make a request here. Thank you so much for any help you can give me! You guys have a superb server. I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of sky block. Plain survival gets old.

ps. I just checked and I had, indeed, changed my user name to AnnodynS. So that's probably the problem. I'll see if I can change it back.

 

Hmmm. I believe that if a player goes inactive for like a few months their island disappears. Not sure if changing your name was the reason or someone creating a new island on your island's place. I dont think theres anything we can do apart from trying to get some information from the admin.

 

By the way, I logged in as my former name, Esssence2 and tried to visit my island but it says the island is locked.

 

Thanks Bert. I really do hope I didn't lose my island. That would be so sad. But if so, I'll just start over I guess.

 

If you haven’t logged on the server for a while ( 6 or more months ) your island gets erased and the date for it. That way the server will never run out of memory as it deletes inactive islands.

Unfortunately, you will have to start from scratch.

 

wow. Well I guess that answers that. But I am getting a message in game saying my island has been locked.

 

Maybe get your husband to get his account on then we'll see if he still has the island or not

 

He did get on last night but and his home is still there and it's different than mine. I may need to get my daughter on.

 

All members of my family who were in the coop: Trodgers, missrodgers09, and myself, Esssence2, cannot access my island and get a locked message. Please, we invested so much time and effort into a beautiful island and we'd love to get back to it as I put in a LOT of hours and real life money into making it what it was. Please let me know if it's possible. Thanks so much!

Well I think mods can visit locked islands if im correct. Tagging some to make sure Natalia Myrmidous Leeeroieee .

I think some mods might of seen it but i doubt the admin saw it.

 

It says Trodgers has an island and Essence2 and missrodgers9 do not. Trodgers is a cobblestone island with an ocean biome.
If you were offline for more than 6 months your island might have been deleted.

The most probable cause is the server bot deleting youe island due to inactivity like the others said. Unfortunately you'll have to start over

Are you a donor by any chance? Ill help you get more resources by obtaining them from kits

 

I believe shes a donor25 or donor50 from what I've seen in game

 

What donor kits do you get with a 25 and a 50?

 

Like cobble, iron, redstone, dia pick, some grass and 5-10 sand. Not sure of the exact amounts.

 

Seeing that it's very unlikely that you'll get your island back, I'm happy to donate a few stacks of diamonds to help you guys start on your island again. I'm really sorry that this has happened to you, it happened to me a few years back and it was very upsetting. If you see me in game just feel free to message me. my ign is Lainiii_ c:
