So yeah I had the island bug happen to me and I'm just wondering when they will get my island back. I've been waiting almost a week and I got no info on when it's coming back....

 

The developers are working their hardest to fix this issue. Be patient.

 

Yeah, as togpuss said, the only thing you can do is be patient.
This has happened to quite a lot of other people, and even just restoring 1 island is a lot of work. You can expect it to take from a few days up to a month.
