Hello, Reader, I am here today to give a suggestion for the website. I think we could Link our MC accounts to our Forum accounts. What I mean by this is that, in Skyblock, I am a Donor250 on .NET so if I link my account to my forums account, it'll say that I am a .NET Donor250 on forums. This'll be the same as .ORG. Plus, once we've linked our accounts, when we get Alerts on forums and we're not online on forums but we are online in-game, it'll give us a notification that we have got an Alert in-game. I think this will be very handy for people who have applied for a Moderator and someone has commented on their application and they're not on forums, etc. Thank you for reading my suggestion! I really think this is handy! AmazingxXx~
Unfortunately, this isn't possible with XenForo and if it is it will be really hard to configure. Also if our In-Game Ranks get showed here the new Premium Ranks will become pointless. The idea is nice but not needed. No Support
Thank you for your support! Ok, not showing donor ranks, I got that. I understand. Thank you for taking your time in reading this. Thank you for your support!
I like this idea, however, I feel that it would be difficult to incorporate, as players would most likely want their name in their rank's colour: Orange - 10, 25, 50 Blue - 100 Pink - 250 Red - 400 As others have already said, this would defeat the point of the premium ranks, as 3/4 of the colours already belong to those ranks. Red is a staff colour so cannot be given to a donator either in fear of confusion. Whilst it's not directly 'linking' the accounts per se, it would be beneficial to have the player's in-game name listed in the information tab. I don't see this idea working, therefore no support.
Eh only supporting if it shows your in-game name as people enjoy the forums mostly because they don't get judged on their rank (as of my hearing) and most people have different forum names to in game. Also support for the alerts (maybe convos too?)
Everyone else has already explained why, but sure. We already have donor ranks on the forums in the form of premium members. How much you've donated isn't important. I personally don't believe in the hierarchy created by donorship and the segregation it causes, and so anything that will promote it further, I generally won't support. I would be neutral if the donor rank was hidden in small text on your About Me page, but anything more I would not support.
