Mee6 posts the server ip address and the forums url VERY often in discord and it is very annoying. From what it looks like, it does it almost every half an hour. There is no need for it to be this often, especially because I'm pretty sure that the majority of the people in the discord know those things.

Support, it's very annoying and shouldn't happen that many times. Although we do get new members on the discord, many of the members joining are already familiar with the server, and possibly the forums. Like it's kinda rare to see people who know nothing of the skyblock server joining the discord, unless you invite someone

 

Support. There have been times when I have been able to see two or three messages from Mee6, without having to scroll up at all. I think that the cooldown should definitely be increased to at least an hour between messages, most likely longer.

Support ! It's very annoying and pointless. I understand that its for new players, but I think there needs to be a big cool down maybe once every 2 hours? Plus people are more than willing to give the server ip and website and we have channels that hint off the server ip (From what I see)

 

Maybe the links should be shown when the player first joins the server?

What about private messaging the player with a tiny bit of general information such as the Discord invite link, forum link, and server IP, when they first join? It wouldn’t cause spam, and would still be able to help new players.

 

Except why would they need the discord invite link when they’ve just joined? xD

 

It would just be another place to find the invite link, if they wanted to share it with friends. The invite link isn't necessary, but if they join the server, then decide that they want to add friends a day or two later, they can copy it from there. You have a good point, it isn't really necessary, it would just give users another way to find the link to invite others.

 

i see mee6 on so many discords i just blocked it on one along time ago and now i never see its msgs

 

i agree.
most people who use or is even active on the discord knows what the ip is and what the server forum website is.

 

Support, I don’t really understand the need for these posts anyway. People will get the discord link via the forums or in-game. If anything is needed to be posted, it should be the discord server rules...
