For new players I can understand that frequent server messages in chat can be helpful, but for us veterans that know all the /warp commands and such it gets pretty annoying. I think it would be really nice to have a /ignore server option or something of the like.
I think /quiet works for it. Though Traupho's skyblock mod can disable some messages (voting and maybe others)
Players should not have to be reliant on minecraft alterations just to mute something that can be toggled on/off easily. the ability to mute skyblock tips should be a feature that vanilla players can do at any point in the game, as I myself value being a vanilla player more than I value turning off the tips I learned back in 2012 (while still HATING the tips filling up my skychat daily.) Surely a /tipmute wouldn't even take that long to programme into the game itself, perhaps a few hours at best to ensure that all of the automated messages get put into the filter for mute? I support the idea of a /ptipmute (or whatever it would be called) in game for the vanilla client users
