Anytime you make something like this, with the "popular" players, you are going to make some of those excluded feel bad. Just saying, it doesn't seem right to create an in-group / out-group sort of scenario on purpose, when everyone is supposed to be equal in the server.

 

We can't include every single player lmao. The people on there are people from the 2013 "family" and were added because their "marriage" was well known, this is for entertainment, its not to shun or leave out other players.

 

I for one am happy to not be included in this. XD It's one of those things that's better enjoyed from the outside looking in.

Jack, in all of your attempts to criticize me, you failed to realize that the last family started out with about 7 people. I then said "Comment if you want to be added!" It evolved from there, had about 1,000 views in 2 days or something crazy like that. Had I made this thread, I would have done the same thing. That is specifically why I didn't recreate it, because the drawing and rearranging became too cumbersome and I didn't want anyone to feel bad that I wasn't drawing them. This was not made just with popular people, it was made with the people who commented on the thread saying they wanted to be added. Please don't make rude assumptions and accusations.

And it wasn't to you specifically; as I understand, you did not make this thread, and therefore shouldn't be taking something that was directed at the OP, personally. "Rude assumptions and accusations," again, with the plurality – only one objection was made. Forums are a place to discuss, and are bound to involve multiple opinions. Saying that something that rubs you wrong (whether it should or not) is rude right off the bat without further discussion, is rude itself: you are attempting to shut down any dialogue that may be valid. I was neither present nor aware for/of the content of the previous thread, nor do I have any obligation to go digging so as to appease you. From what is in front of me, and this thread being the only thing in pertinent context, it indicates and breeds a sense of elitism. The OP included nothing of the sort of, "comment if you want to be added." So, assumption? No, it was a logical deduction, from the material available. Accusation? Yes, it was. Exactly what the accusation was, was that there was (probably by oversight) an action – the creation of this thread – creating a premise of elitism, which is not what the server stands for, from what I have come to understand. What you perhaps fail to realize, was that there was not a single note of condemnation in my post. Rather, it was a friendly reminder that we should be aware of what we say/post, and try to avoid doing so if doing is to hurt others' feelings, or even potentially so. The real question is, is why are you so quick to be offended? Certainly, it's not because you feel your "artwork" is of any high value. Someone who immediately responds in such a way to the smallest adversity is not someone I would want enforcing rules and regulating a community. But hey, who am I? I'm just a guy who got told by forum moderator that I am rude, am one who jumps to baseless conclusions, and have no merit in what I say.

 

I didn't say there was no merit in what you said. I simply said that you are quick to make assumptions. You looked at the original thread and instead of joining along and having fun like everyone else, you decided to make it a negative thing, that I was excluding people I didn't like, which is not what I stand for.

The thread was made to be fun and uplifting. I quickly drew people profile pictures they had at the time in mspaint. The art was not meant to be professional, it was meant to elicit a joking response and a few giggles. No need to jump down my throat for doing something kind to the community.

As for the "OP, not you" thing, since I was the one that drew it, it was also directed at me, so I responded as such.
