I've been wanting to request this ever since I joined forums but I decided not to since the forums would be really laggy due to this but then I thought there is no harm in seeing other peoples thoughts for this.

Increasing the kbs size for images could allow gif. to be useable, obviously not huge ones but medium sized gifs would be great, also having them move on forums would be great too but completely not necessary, all im really suggesting is that we increase the KB limit.

Last time I checked, gifs work as long as they're sized correctly. To/prove this, I have set my profile picture as a dancing gif for the time being.

To my understanding there are file compressors and I'm sure some quality loss is okay with profile pictures as they are commonly skimmed over and not assessed too closely. It's a nice idea but as Incomposed has stated it'd make the forums laggier.

No support, but a decent suggestion.
