Literally anything that would get rid of some lag on this server. It's not a big server, it shouldn't be this laggy. Feel free to add to this list. Lag Suggestions: -1.5x Clag speed -Get rid of Anti-cheat (or fix it??)
They have made countless attempts to remove lag, it’s just worth the time and effort upgrading to 2 hosts in my opinion
For somethings it could work, however not everyone can get better wifi. Some locations can only get 56kb/s speeds tops. Back in my day the fastest speed we could get was 24kb/s and that was is in the early 90s. If you tried running Minecraft back then it take a good few hours to load up, on top of that the lag of movement would be really slow. The issue is related to the amount of plugins that are used on the server, meaning the download portion to run it, as well as the version of Minecraft used. Version 1.12 has a lot more lag then version 1.14 with 1.15 having less then the other two. If you removed all of the plugins the server would have next to no lag. I have a server that has zero plugins and runs way faster than the one here, however I only about 4 - 6 users so it is not truly comparable. Granted I barely notice the lag except that the blocks appear to duplicate themselves on the server. So there is lag. The less plugins something has the less lag it will have, don't forget each command block also adds a varying degree of lag as well since most have to be repeating forever. So there is that two that you have to account for, along with the size of the island, the amount of redstone used, the amount of mobs in game, and other various factors.
