Obviously the kiwi in this story is trying to loose weight by pulling trees up a giant cliff. After pulling the tree a certain distance up the hill he climbs down and nails it to the cliff. The kiwi does this over and over again, never content with his physical appearance. He strives to be the embodiment of the standards set by the media. Later on in the story we see how the kiwi can no longer handle the pressure of the society and the media. We see him make a decision to take suicide by jumping off the cliff. As the kiwi is falling we see him showing his emotions and his small arms for the first time. What caused this kiwi to make such a drastic decision?
Was it the unrealistic standards set by the society and the media, which caused the kiwi too feel very sad over not being able to achieve this standards (skinny body with big strong arms) ??? No it was the irresistible instinct to scratch his behind as seen in 0:36. This is a big issue for many kiwis today. You can help make a difference in the lives of many kiwis. That's right YOU! As you can see, the Kiwi cannot fly. So he made it look like he could fly. He wanted that vision. The moral is, the impossible is possible. If you can't fly, make yourself look like you can. :3 #Never #Give #Up
I think the moral is that it's better to live a short life that you were able to achieve your dreams in, than to live a long life for which you were unhappy. As seen in the video, even though the kiwi couldn't fly, he wanted to end his life with the satisfaction of feeling how it would be to fly.
No, well because it has the look like he was happy, Let him die happy and Proud. Rather than sad and boredish. You know. :] Also I won't advertise again. Sowzz
I saw this on Youtubers React. I almost cried, but I realized I already don't have very much masculinity xD
But there are some things we humans are inaccessible to, but most of us are still able to live a happy life.
I watched this many times. I thought this as an inspirational animation. At least the little kiwi accomplished what he/she wanted to in the end, he/she probably knew that they are going to die, however they still did it to have the feeling with them that he/se can get the feeling that she/he can fly. I think the moral is to never give up on the dreams that we want to achieve. "Forget all the reasons why it won't work, and believe in the reasons why it will" "Never give up on something you really want and can't go a day without thinking about"
I think the moral of the story (I don't actually think there was one implied purposefully) was to do what you desire -- fulfill your goals even if you have to make sacrifices to get to them. The Kiwi bird achieved what he wanted most in life, flying. It shed some final tears of joy, and plummeted to it's death.
