Its not overly hard to comply to Eula though. There are many servers that have done it. Anyway I cannot see this server going down without a good fight.

We're fine, EULA cracked down on servers, mineverse being one of them, and Cyp fixed it. EULA gives you warnings before they blacklist your server.

    Let's talk server monetisation!
    Let's talk server monetisation - the follow-up Q+A

Any minecraft server requires minecraft to run. Mojang does not want you to sell minecaft related gameplay features, as you are not allowe to make money from a Minecraft product.

Ranks are allowed, but they cannot come with kits, spawners, etc. servers such as Mineplex and Hypixel sell ranks, but include cosmetics such as particles, coloured name tags, join full servers, etc., which is completely fine. Selling swords, iron kits and grass is not.

They are not talking about players, they are talking about Owners. A server owner cannot charge players the a Microsoft product, even if it means selling diamonds on a private server. They are not allowed to make money of gameplay features, as it's like selling cracked copies of the game. You can only sell in-game perks if they do not affect gameplay, such as coloured name tags, prefixes, etc. it does not matter if the players consider it as a donation. Donations are allowed, but a server owner cannot give. Rewards that apply to donors only, as it means restricting Minecraft-included game features to donors.

    And thanks, lol

Like we can put up good lawyers to fight Microsoft.
Like everyone here doesn't know this server is pay to win.

You can't fight a legal document. We can't argue against the EULA. We just have to build around it.

    Please elaborate??

Pay to win for Minecraft doesn't make sense; there is no objective.

Roughly 90% of servers are pay to win. What the heck do you mean there's no objective? On prison servers, be the highest rank. It's 100x easier with a rank and custom perks. Even here, be the richest player and best island. It is nearly impossible competing with donor400s.

Microsoft is trying to keep servers fun in all honesty

Pay to play easier, not pay to win.

That's what pay to win basically is l0l

You can't expect a green bean to compete against Stel

Microsoft is trying to stop this

Yes I understand, but it's pay to play easier, there's no winning point, this is not CS:GO.

    Urban Dictionary: pay-to-win

Pay to win is another word meaning to give insane advantages over players who can't donate
