Minecraft talk.

I started playing Minecraft in the late year of 2012, at this time my friend showed me a single player download called SkyBlock and him and I competed against each other to complete all the challenges first. My friend whooped my butt. Needless to say, I enjoyed the challenge, but my main focus was in building.

A few months after that, I found this server, Skyblock.net, I think it was near the end of 2013 that I joined the server. My island on this server began with a nice little jungle themed storage room at the very bottom of the build restrction, y=0. Around this time, I think it was possible to grief people, I cannot remember 100%. I remember making lots of pixel art on my island, and became close friends with someone who had an island beside me, Majorpuppycox (no longer plays). This allowed us to make a ~200*100 island. On this island, I made a complete box design where I would extend the walls all the way down the 256 block height. Inside this box was 6 layers if I recall correctly. The top layer was my pixel art, the second layer (from the top) was a farming section, the third, fourth, and fifth layer was unused as I could not think of many things to make. And finally, the 6th layer was a remake of the nether, this idea was taken from a staff member who also remade the nether on their island. This is a rundown of my first island on this server. The second and third island is a huge improvement as I progressed my building skill. If I may add, I was helping Cypriotmerks when he was a greenbean and first logged into the server.

My second island was around 6 months after my first, I stopped playing for a while and then came back to play the server again.

The second island had a nice little jungle theme temple structure with a glowstone/leaves ring around it to give it some detail. On this floating temple was another room under it where I could /spawnmob abuse pig zombies and kill them to get the gold nuggets they drop. I did this method for quite some time and gained many, many riches... It was an OP strategy before it was removed. At y=0, I remade the nether again, however this time, I built a little nether themed church building, and asked for an admin to spawn in a wither onto my island. The wither was my "pet". I had a complete remake of the skyblock starter island, the oak tree, the 3 3*3*3 grass sections joined together to make an L, and the chest, were all changed into diamond blocks.

The second island didn't last long as I was caught up with the wrong person and this player convinced me to join him in hacking people... Little did I know, he hacked me too.

I received a ban for this, and I think it lasted 6 months to a year.

I then came back a third time and recreated the Temple of Dionysus on my island, created a nice styled storage room, and an intricate shop where at this stage, ETMANrules joined my island and helped me run the shop as I am not a tradesperson with shop, I am a builder and barterer. This temple was huge, and still accessible upon request. Not much to explain with this island, if you youtube "temple of dionysus minecraft" you will see what it looked like. Although, this recreation was mostly wool for the pillars as I was restricted with quartz and iron blocks.

This island also didn't last long as I betrayed someone and scammed them. Now, to clear it up, I don't scam often at all. I am not sure why I did this, maybe I was going through a stage where I just didn't care about the consequence etc, but what's done is done. I received a perm-ban for this on the restriction to never be unbanned again.

6 months later from that ban and it brings us to the current week. I bought an unban pass as proof to myself and some others that I am back with a new attitude.

I am currently in the process of making my fourth island, and this one will be bigger than ever, but will take a lot of work. I am really far behind in wealth, so I will work hard to get back on top of it all once again.

tl;dr - I am back after 2 bans, 3 islands, and an attitude change.

Real life talk.

I study Mechanical Engineering at university, I am heading into my 3rd year (2017), and I am expected to graduate at the end of 2018. I am 20 years of age (15th dec 2016 will be my 20th birthday), and I work as a labourer for a construction company to give me some income for 5 months of each year, this helps to fund my car, and many bills that I have to pay.

How is skyblock treating you mate, still around on the server, or do you just sit on forums now?

Yeah haha, some people might be interested in my constructions though, however, it may be a little hard to get a visual of my islands without screenshots.

 

Just the forums, not a fan of how the server is now. I mostly am here for the sake of it now lol.

I want to one day own a performance shop for cars. Always loved how they work and how there is different motors, rotary, V6, in line 6, straight 6, and it has always been something I enjoy .

 

My car is somewhat old (1999 Lexus) but has a V6 3.0L that is quiet and handles very smootly. I dont get the difference between the I4 and a V6 (apart from cylinders and Performance wise)

 

An I4 is just called an in-line 4, as all the cylinders are beside each other, whereas a V6, there is 3 cylinders on each side of the engine in the shape of a V.

I own a 2007 Holden with a 3.6L V6

 

Ahh I see. Does it make a difference if the cylinders are beside each other versus cylinders placed on each side of the engine in a v formation?
