Thank you for opening an appeal and remaining calm and polite. This is absolutely the correct way to handle this and generally results in more favorable discussion. On a personal level I also appreciate the lighter tone; while I never had a bad experience with grapes I do find this particular situation amusing. Good to see you feel the same, sir.

As you are aware SkyBlock tries to maintain a safe and family-friendly environment for players of every age. Since Minecraft players tend to be a bit younger we often ask our users to avoid using adult language and themes in public chat. It is not unreasonable to request people avoid swearing, racial and religious slurs and sexual content in an "open" environment with children around.

Unfortunately your behavior tonight was not appropriate. Although you state you were banned for putting "grapes" in your /nick you forgot to mention your previous choice of name:

You were asked politely several times to avoid abusing nicknames/filtered terms and chose to disregard the requests. This culminated in you naming yourself "____ujew" and earned you a brief time-out from the server. When you return please remember that inappropriate chat in public spaces does not contribute to a family-friendly environment for everyone else.

You may, of course, request a higher authority to review the decision. Ms. Kerahna and Ms. fungamer333 are available and I would be happy to speak with them (or any other team member). I will stand by for the results.

The nick I was trying to change to was to surprise a friend that I was talking to on discord. I was tpa'ing tn him with different nicks in a legal way to bypass the mute. 1 on 1.

I understand the seriousness in the nickname and would have never said anything in chat with that nick on.

 

Lol, this is why people get angry with the staff team. There is so much back and forth it's ridiculous. Lick and deny please, by the time something gets done the ban will be finished.
