4. Did I read the rules? No, I was new to Skyblock.net. However I red the rules after the incident and the first rule applies to me.



5. Why do I think was banned? For griefing … Not 100% sure.


6. Was this an incorrect ban? No, yes… as well as not 100% sure.

8. Why do you think you should be unbanned?


First of all, I wanted to start on a new island so I created a ‘new’ Island, I spawned in as normal, with the starting island, and a chest, however this time was different, I saw a house / Island in the distance which was half cut off so I thought it was probably a glitch with my old house (The building looked very similar) or Skyblock.net wasn’t loading properly. So I went to check it out. The house was half cut off so all I thought to myself “Oh, it’s probably a Skyblock.net bug or the island code got mixed up with someone else’s”, so I roamed around, I saw no one, not even a single player. At this point I thought my island was just weirdly generated so I took some plants, vegetables, and cobble stone for my advantages as well as a mob spawner (Which I destroyed, I had a silk touch enchantment to my pickaxe… didn’t know that spawners would break even with silk touch :/ ). After a while I thought the island was all mine because no one was on the island so I went to do some mining on the cobblestone generator, and planted some birch trees, I then went to take a break (Pausing on the ‘Esc’ menu) All of a sudden I heard doors opening and closing, it caught my attention so I went to check what was going on and then I saw someone on my island (Apparently it was the original owner I didn’t know at that time) so I wanted to report to a mod ‘Sean’ who was originally on at that time, because when I saw the player, I immediately thought he was a griefer (He had a full set of iron amour so I thought it would have been a Mod which had teleported to my island) I was typing in “Mod- Sean, there’s a player on my island, please come and c…….” Then I was banned because of griefing. Which confused me a lot. So I went to Skyblock.net (Which I never knew about, till there was a message which reads “Appeal on Skyblock.net”) After reading the rules, first rule which states no bridging to other player’s island, I was completely astonished because I never knew bridging to other player’s island was even possible or even a thing (I used to play on a different server Mineverse.com So I had never experienced this kind of a problem before)


However if it was 100% my fault I’ll do the best that I could, to help the person I just ‘griefed’ or I will just stay banned from Skyblock.net (permanently) because I should have really thought first and then do it, because after the incident which just occurred today I’m not sure if the players, donors, mods could trust me anymore. I feel like I don’t deserve to be on Skyblock.net.


Ps. For any evidence or clues you could check my inventory for ‘Stolen’ items that I stole/griefed, I assure you I have nothing because I had put all the cobblestone in a chest.

I only joined Skyblock.net 2 weeks ago, so I was kinda new to this server. I didn’t read the rules until I got banned… lesson well learnt :/

Simple issue here, when you generated your island it cut into his as he was over the 49x49 radius, basically what will happen is that you'll need to refund the items etc when you're unbanned.

 

Which part is the refund part? As I generated my island I have no control over the Skyblock.net system, so I have no idea that I would cut into his island as this was partly his fault for building over 49x49 radius. However the items that I had destroyed I will need five days, I need to vote for skyblock.net to get grass as a payment. As well as the crate key items.

I have nothing in my inventory... I put everything back in chests. Except for the mob spawner that I broke.

 

Alright, let's see if I can get you a replacement spawner.

 

I don't know, I really want to do it by myself because I was the one who destroyed the spawner. Any idea of how I could get one ? Except buying one on the store :/
