Almost every couple days at this point im getting this issue where my whole pc has wifi, ill litterally be watching youtube, and its like my minecraft isnt connected to the internet, and its starting to drive me crazy, I'm really hoping someone knows a fix for this because i'm not too sure how much longer i can keep doing it :/ for a few hours a day i get this issue where i try to connect to skyblock and it doesnt load and gives me a getsocket issue, Ive tried flushing my dns, changing my portfowarding, allowing everything on my system thru my firewall, reseting, and turning on and off router and PC, and absolutley nothing works. If i swap to my mobile data from my ethernet cable to my router, it does something even more bizzare, every single server works BUT skyblock, which is crazy to me. I feel like i know my stuff when it comes to this kind of stuff and ive looked everywhere and i cant find a single answer thats helped me except for waiting for it to allow me back in after im spending hours looking for an answer :/
Reminds me of my issues a few years ago when routing did not work. The issue was only affecting european users back then. Maybe try to do some investigative work and get in touch with matt so they can get in touch with their hosting/routing services
Aye may have to, I’ve noticed it’s most defo an issue with my wifi, I’m at work at the moment and tried logging in with my work laptop instead of the home pc and it’s working fine, I think there’s some kind of setting in missing, or an issue with my home wifi, I tried my pc and my laptop at home and neither worked, and the laptop instantly connected to the server when I was using a different wifi, weird how my mobile hotspot isn’t working for SB specifically though. Hate minecraft errors
Try check your DNS Settings. Whats your provider for resolving the Domain? Are they different on your work/private pc/network? try changing it
I had a similar issue when using mullvad dns over https. Reverting to normal dns or 1.1.1.1 fixed it.
