SO lets start from the beginning. basically i had a account name, named : pro_gamer55643 but then i downloaded battlefield on my computer and the whole thing crashed. Then i realised i had to reset my computer and so i had to make another account on minecraft. Now My friend named : XxSWAG_DANxX is still on my island which belonged to my alt: pro_gamer55643 and so i can get on as my friend isn't the leader of the /coop so he can't invite me it says : "you can't invite as your not the party leader but to start a new one do /coop leave ": and so i can't continue on my sky block island. please help -XxSWAG_NUBxX p.s help asap would be wonderful :/
He has to use the command /coop changeleader <old leader (him)> <New leader (you)> I think thats the right command, correct me if I'm wrong. As far as someone else helping you out like an admin or such, I don't think that's likely. It's pretty simple thats why. Just have him change the leader and you should be alright. That command does not work. To change coop leader, everyone must leave the coop except the person who wants to be leader. This can be done with /coop leave. Then the new leader must invite people back. Pressing /coop tells you who is in the coop and who the leader is.
Wasn't there a command before? I thought there was and now I'm thinking that it became bugged or taken out with the new update... Please answer this because it'll be helpful for my mini-modding later.
I've been on the server a little over a year. In my time here, I haven't seen a specific command to change the coop leader.
I believe there is a command to change the coop leader because months ago (about 6+) at one of the islands I joined, my coop leader accidently changed the leader. I never learned the command, but I am sure there is a command to change the coop leader. However, it might me bugged at the moment.
A mod helped me at one point cause my friend was leaving for a while and gave me permission to add people, but I couldn't. Said mod gave me the command and now I'm leader so... Honestly, I can't remember the command too well and thats why I said correct me if I was wrong.
