This suggestion mostly has two parts, considering they are sort of attached.

Suggestion 1: The option to change the weather of a skyblock island for all visitors. (to force a theme)

As most of you know, there are a lot of skyblock islands out there who don't adhere to the normal shop look. Where an island is purely there for aesthetics and simply the theme around it. Now i've spoken to a few people but one of the features that would be appreciated is a set weather for an island. For instance i've got a Village in a snowy mountain town, and would greatly benefit the island if I could make it a constant snowstorm. I could see others have a sort of more dystopian city with rain, or even a forest island during a rainstorm. The weather would allow people to give that extra little love to their island.

Of course, this could potentially be locked behind a grass payment, or even a donator command if so desired.

Edit: Who would've known this was /changeweather thanks to Megan for informing us. Suggestion 1.1 still stands.

Suggestion 1.1?: Allow snow weather to leave behind snow again.

This might more be for me then for anybody else, but from my quick scouting I couldn't find any moderator / helper tell me why it currently doesn't. I'd love for my snowy island to actually have to worry about falling snow, light up paths with torches etc.

on the economy side of things, can't convince me that shoveling below a snow golem is any slower then "farming" falling snow. And its not like snow isn't already a mass produced item.

I'd love to hear your take on this, but I feel this would be a nice addition to allow for more themes on islands. I get that not all islands are theme based and a lot of em are simply shops, but still.

Do know, that we do have /pweather, its just only a personal one and doesn't really show for any visitors. The suggestion being for a island wide one so all visitors get the same weather.

Although I do genuinely want island weather in skyblock, I am not sure that this is possible because weather is global, and does not allow for weather to soley effect one place. (Though the use of biomes could filter weather.[Such as putting a desert for clear skies, snowy for snow, and ocean for rainy.])
Support if the mods find a way to add this into the game.
(Also no thunder because thunder is a universal sound that everyone in like a multiple thousand block radius can hear, which could get very annoying.)

I like this idea, it would allow you to customize your island more and give it more taste. After all this is Vanilla Minecraft so all the weather chances should be in it but for each island. On your other suggestion I wouldn't mind the snow fall. Snow is already heavily farmed and it can be farmed easily with or without a spawner. Support!

    1 is implemented, do /changeweather

Please note: this is purely cosmetic and does not have any in game effect other than changing the island weather. You can also use /changetime - this works the same as weather

He's actually saying that making the island weather visible to ALL visitors only to see, Not sure if this is possible but outside of the island 199x199 won't count.

Support though. (A theme for winter islands)

That’s exactly what happens & what I mentioned.

/changeweather and /changetime is fixed for the whole island, ALL visitors will experience a change in weather and time when they visit you. Their weather will then refer back when they leave that island.

When was this added? Had no idea this was a feature. I suggested this in April 2021 and since then nobody mentioned you could just " /changeweather" Only /pweather and /ptime

I'd still like now to leave behind snow though
